DGS Berlin PV yield studies
Our original DGS Berlin PV yield studies are the basis for any profitability and bankability analysis.
The studies are based on a location-specific, reference weather data set determined from several meteorological data sources. A simulation of the PV system is run using at least two programs and incorporates shading, mounting situation, system design and all system losses such as module mismatching, soiling, reflection, DC and AC wiring, inverter and transformer losses etc. The results are professionally evaluated and individually corrected to determine estimated electricity production and performance ratio. This approach allows for the most precise estimations of future energy yields. A monthly yield forecast and detailed calculations are documented in an independent and comprehensive report.
Original DGS Berlin PV yield studies comply with the voluntary commitment standards for PV evaluators of the German Quality Assurance for Solar Funds working group.
In addition, our yield forecast is the basis for the yield insurance provided by Mannheimer Versicherungs AG.
