Technical Due Diligence
Complete project review, from planning to operations and maintenance. Technical due diligence is the basis for comprehensive quality assurance.
Technical due diligence evaluates the ability of a PV power plant to achieve the economic expectations from a technical point of view. Its goal is to minimise the economic risk of a project and to simplify investment decisions.
Technical due diligence analyses all technical aspects relevant for the success of a PV project. In addition to an analysis of the location and the expected yield, DGS Berlin experts evaluate the planning documentation with regard to a yield-optimised design in accordance with all applicable standards. Furthermore, comprehensive measurements (also compare plant acceptance) and an analysis of safety and security relevant devices are part of the work. Moreover, an evaluation of technical permissions and legal requirements (e.g. grid interconnections and feed-in allowances) as well as technical contracts (EPC, O&M etc.) is essential. The results are presented in a detailed report that includes not only the current situation but also a risk analysis.
