Yield reports & shading analysis
The professional determination of yields should precede any profitability analysis and is often a prerequisite for financing.
Yield report
With the original DGS yield reports, we provide the basis for every profitability and bankability analysis.
A site-specific reference weather data set is determined based on the data from various meteorological services. An hourly-resolved time series is created from this and the irradiation at generator level is calculated. Based on the planning documents, the system is simulated in the simulation programme, including a 3D model, in order to calculate the system yield, taking into account all relevant loss parameters.
The simulation results are subjected to a critical evaluation and correction in order to determine the forecast value. This ensures that the future system yields are modelled as accurately as possible. We document the monthly forecast values for irradiation and system yield as well as the detailed calculations and loss factors in a comprehensive report.
Shading analysis
Is your PV system partially shaded and not generating the expected yields? We will find out.
You are concerned that your PV system may be shaded by neighbouring buildings. Have new buildings been constructed in your neighbourhood or is a wind farm being built next to your ground-mounted system? What influence can this have on the yields of your system? We offer a detailed analysis of the influence of the neighbourhood today and in the future. In addition to possible reductions in yield, optimisation proposals (system technology, green cuttings, etc.) and their effects are also shown.

- Module layout plan of the planned solar park (incl. azimuth angle, module tilt angle)
- The letter from the relevant authority requesting a corresponding glare protection report. If this is not available, please specify the immission locations for the study (e.g. residential buildings, road traffic, railway traffic)
- The address of the invoice recipient to whom the certificate is to be issued
- The desired deadline or period so that we can take this into account when preparing the offer
