Course description

The course is aimed at project planners and project developers who deal with the grid connection procedure and other remuneration-relevant requirements of the EEG and other legal provisions up to the grid-related commissioning of a photovoltaic system. Course participants will learn all the process steps for securing electricity remuneration and the smooth running of this process.

In addition to the grid compatibility check and reservation for the grid connection point, the necessary process steps for EEG commissioning and grid commissioning are also coordinated with the grid operator. The grid commissioning process on the low-voltage and/or medium-voltage side is also discussed step by step in order to avoid delays in the process or frequent sources of error.

The key points of the process for creating the system certificate and the declaration of conformity are presented here for coordination with the system certifier. This includes the schedule, time required and scope, overview of the required documents to be submitted, as well as tips and shortcuts to ensure timely completion.

The process steps for coordinating with the direct marketer or PPA provider or for coordinating a commercial electricity supply contract are also presented for the ideal procedure, thus optimally preparing the participants for the electricity marketing process.

Target price

This seminar deals with the grid connection procedures for large PV systems that are relevant to remuneration. The target group are general contractors in the PV industry, project planners or project developers, but also planners who have little experience with approval procedures for PV parks and want to build up or deepen their knowledge here. The lecturers draw on intensive engineering and planning experience and co-operation with various grid operators and stakeholders.

Topic

Today, newly built large photovoltaic systems are the cheapest power plants in Germany. Photovoltaic power plants with a nominal output of 2.81 GW were installed in 2018. The installed capacity is set to increase significantly by 2030. Alongside planning and construction, the approval process is also a key component that should be mastered by the players in order to ensure that the approval process is handled efficiently. It therefore makes sense for many companies to invest in this area.
