Project description

Why this project?
Solar energy is not an option, but a key technology for the global energy transition. However, in order to achieve the increasing expansion targets worldwide, we urgently need qualified specialists. However, the reality shows:
On-site assembly training is time-consuming and expensive. The content is often not standardised, which makes quality assurance more difficult.
Practical experience is difficult to convey, especially in large groups or when there is a lack of equipment.
Many young people do not have vocational training in the PV sector on their radar.
With the PV-Trainer, we want to combine digital training and courses with 3D content on the web and practical exercises with virtual reality in order to transform education and training in the PV industry in the long term.
A first prototype, which we have tested together with the AHK in Argentina, among others, already shows how practical, interactive and effective this method is for learning.

Our vision:
Through the funding project, we are developing a business model that integrates digital and virtual training solutions into the education sector - for trainees, career changers and specialists in further education. We are using WebXR technology to make access to our training courses even easier.

What makes WebXR special?

Easy access via the browser - no app download necessary.
Cross-device use - VR glasses, desktop or tablet.
Scalability and flexibility.

Our goal:
With targeted market research and consulting, we want to develop a business model that will revolutionise training in the solar industry in the long term and have a lasting impact - in Germany and worldwide.
