Course description
This course provides an introduction to the technical aspects of photovoltaic systems - explained simply and clearly.
Basic physical and electrotechnical principles are explained and knowledge of all important components is imparted. In addition, the basics of system design and safety aspects are discussed. The course provides technical insights into the entire process of a PV system, from the initial idea through planning and construction to successful operation.
Target price
You can plan and optimise a PV system and design it to meet quality standards. You will be familiar with the applicable regulations. You will learn the essentials of standard-compliant installation, lightning and surge protection, fire protection, professional installation and the building rules and regulations.
